CBX RIDERS CLUB (UK)
On the 30th September our old web host closed their hosting business and we were forced to move our website. We decided to refresh the complete site and hope this will be completed by the end of October so please bear with us whilst many of the web pages are being updated with some containing information that needs to be reformatted. The Members Forum should be back on line in the coming days, sorry for any inconvenience caused. Thank you.
The club was founded in 1992 by Pete & Rusty Broad with a few like minded CBX enthusiasts. The club has members around the world and maintains strong links with other overseas clubs all over the globe including Japan.
The club magazine CBX rider is published four times a year and is in full colour and around fifty pages crammed with articles and features about the ownership and running of a CBX. There are regular features on members’ bikes and technical articles to help you maintain your pride and joy. There are bikes for sale and wanted Ads and contact numbers and Email address for the various club experts.
The club has several technical advisors spread around the UK who offer free technical advice either by email or over the telephone within certain times which are published in the club mag.
FREE TOOL HIRE
The club has several sets of vacuum gauges spread around the UK which can be hired free by members subject to payment of the carriage each way and a returnable deposit. Other tools are also available and shim swaps too.
The club has its own CBX insurance scheme run by Footman James Ltd which should save you money and is a multi bike policy. Agreed value and free UK & Continental recovery included.
The main interest of most members is in riding and restoring their machines and the clubs regional reps arrange local meetings and rideouts. The highlight of the year is the clubs main rally which is held in different parts of the UK each year. The club also attend many of the main Classic bike shows around the UK and members are encouraged to show their bikes.
The club has a spares co-ordinator who is always on the lookout for sources of spares and runs a regular column in the club mag. A full directory of sources is published in the club mag from time to time and is maintained within the members area of this website.
